BD4QoL supports people after head and neck cancer, seeking and fostering their active participation to their recovery pathway, side by side with their reference physicians.

The "Patient Empowerment" environment developed within BD4QoL around mobile phone apps and the BiDi interactive chatbot, will collect patients' needs and propose personalized information, suggestions, recommendations to actively sustain their psychological status, to fight fears and discomfort, to motivate and engage them for a return to a normal social life and a good health status.

Health parameters and social life indicators collected through mobile phone sensors will identify the onset of possible new health conditions, and activate direct contacts with physicians and nurses.
