The UPM team presented in the BHI 2021 conference the innovations bring to support head and neck cancer survivors within the BD4QoL project. Based on state of the art on different areas: improving HNC care and post-treatment workflows, behaviour recognition modelling, affective computing and personalized coaching, and tools and approaches available at the standard of care, this work presents the innovative approaches undertaken in the BD4QoL project. The final system includes an unobtrusive monitoring system to HNC survivors allowing for identification of behavioural models, personalized interventions through the chatbot and point of care alert management, therefore improving HNC care and post-treatment workflows. The implementation of this system will be tested within a prospective clinical trial.
