Starting with a presentation of the CSS team involved in the BD4QoL research project, the article presents the objectives of the project in a simple language, tailored to the readers of the publication (subscribers from the network of prayer groups of Padre Pio, hospitalized patients and guests of the long term care facility owned by CSS). The emphasis in on the development of tehcnologies to monitor the quality of life of HNC patients. It also announce the recruitment of patients from CSS which is a pilot site of the project
