As the BD4QoL project progresses, a key evaluation is underway focusing on the Point of Care (PoC) tool used by healthcare professionals and the mobile app provided to participants in the intervention arm of the study.
This evaluation involves detailed analysis of usage logs and survey responses. By processing interaction data from both tools, we aim to understand real-world usage patterns. In parallel, usability and acceptability surveys are being analysed—capturing insights from both healthcare professionals and participants.
This effort will help determine whether the tools were used as expected and if their use contributed meaningfully to the study and project goals. It will also support, when appropriate, interpretation of study results. These insights are expected to guide improvements in future digital health systems.
A scientific publication summarising the findings will follow later this year, contributing to the growing knowledge on digital tools in cancer survivorship and quality-of-life monitoring.
