UPM will participate in the 16th EAI International Conference on Pervasive Computing Technologies for Healthcare where it will present the work done in the context of the BD4QoL project related to smartphone-based strategies to monitor the Quality of Life in Head and Neck Cancer survivors. First, the results from a literature review focused on mHealth services for cancer patients will be shown. Afterward, UPM will present a complete overview of how to consolidate a clinical trial protocol where patients are encouraged, through a mobile application, to perform self-management of their health status, keep healthy lifestyles and interact with an artificial intelligence that provides counsel validated by Head and Neck Cancer experts
