The Point of Care tool of the BD4QoL project has been updated with new technical features to better keep track of the status of patients already enrolled in the study.

Specifically, a new table labeled as ‘Recruitment Status’ has been added to the Trial Dashboard. This table is updated automatically every day and contains information about the status of the BD4QoL installations,  set-up, and data transfer, to periodically check their correct functionality in every patient’s account and thus early detect possible issues that are not being manually reported by patients through the Participant’s Portal. 

Together with the refinements, now that the recruitment of patients has started, the real usage of the tool is being analysed to evaluate its most useful characteristics, that aid physician’s follow up treated Head and Neck cancer patients and their Quality of Life.
