On 23 and 24 May, a conference of considerable interest and importance will be held at the Conference Hall of the Medical Associationof Parma, entitled: Health and AI Ethics, Profession, Law and Safety. Bioethics and Biolaw in comparison.
At the centre of the illustrious presentations were crucial and urgent topics: The progression of research in the field of computer science and the use of AI in various fields has led to some of the most relevant aspects being evaluated in the field of bioethics and biolaw; as well as in view of the consequences in terms of individual and legal responsibility, and the implications in the field of health care with particular emphasis on liability and security (cybersecurity). It will be an opportunity to present the European BD4QoL project together with the SERICS project: the latter focuses on a study of security in the field of the use of AI with the assessments inherent to the safety of the use of related -IA devices and above all of the management of sensitive and ultra-sensitive data, with all the problems in the legal sphere of the individual operator and in the sphere of state control, through the experiences gained in the national sphere in which the forerunner function is evident with the first legislative interventions anticipating those of Europe and the more industrialised countries.
